เป็นกีฬาพื้นบ้านของประเทศลาว และเป็นกีฬาสาธิตในการแข่งขันซีเกมส์ครั้งที่ 25 ซึ่งประเทศลาวเป็นเจ้าภาพจัดการแข่งขัน มีวิธีการเล่นคล้ายกับประเทศไทย ลูกข่างถือเป็นการละเล่นชนิดหนึ่ง ที่มีการเล่นโดยผูกด้วยเชือก และขว้างลูกข่างลงพื้นให้เกิดการหมุน โดยมีกติกาการเล่น ดังนี้

- หากขว้างลูกข่างไม่หมุนหรือออกนอกวงที่กำหนดไว้ถือว่าแพ้

- ผู้แพ้จะต้องนำลูกข่างของตนไปวางในวงกลมเพื่อให้คนอื่นใช้ลูกข่างที่พันเชือก ขว้างไปบนลูกข่างนั้นเป็นการลงโทษ



อุปกรณ์ที่ใช้ในการเล่น ประกอบไปด้วย

- ลูกข่าง ส่วนมากจะทำจากไม้มะยมกลึง และมีตะปูเป็นเดือยแหลมตรงกลางคนละ 1 ลูก

วิธีเล่น
