​ โครงการนี้เป็นการรวบรวมข้อมูลการซ่อมแซมสะพานคอนกรีตเสริมเหล็กของสำนักบำรุงทางกรมทางหลวงชนบท ตั้งแต่ปี 2555-2557 จำนวนทั้งสิ้น 29 โครงการ จำแนกเป็น สะพานในสายทาง 11 โครงการ และสะพานชุมชน 18 โครงการ เพื่อทำการศึกษา และวิเคราะห์การซ่อมแซมสะพานคอนกรีตเสริมเหล็กในแต่ละโครงการว่ามีความเสียหายที่เกิดขึ้นในลักษณะใดบ้าง สามารถทำการซ่อมแซมได้โดยวิธีใด มีกี่วิธีในการซ่อมแซมและ มีการใช้งบประมาณ ราคาในการซ่อมแซม ตลอดจนถึงระยะเวลาในการซ่อมแซมสะพานคอนกรีตเสริมเหล็กว่าใช้ระยะเวลาและราคาไปเท่าใด
​จากการศึกษาพบว่าสามารถจำแนกความเสียหายที่เกิดขึ้นในชิ้นส่วนสำคัญได้ 4 ชิ้นส่วน ได้แก่ 1.เสาตอม่อ 2.คานรับพื้นสะพาน 3.ท้องพื้นสะพาน และ 4.คานยึดเสาตอม่อ โดยความเสียหายหลักที่เกิดขึ้นในทั้ง 4 ชิ้นส่วน คือความเสียหายที่เกิดจากการโผล่ของเหล็กเสริม ซึ่งมีสาเหตุเกิดจากการถูกน้ำและคราบเกลือที่เกิดขึ้นกัดเซาะจนเห็นเหล็กเสริม นอกจากนี้ยังมีสาเหตุมาจากการถูกเรือหรือเศษหินในกระแสน้ำชนและกัดเซาะจนเกิดรอยแตกอีกด้วย
​ทั้งนี้จากการศึกษา พบว่ากรมทางหลวงชนบทเลือกใช้การซ่อมแซมวิธีสกัดคอนกรีตแล้วหล่อใหม่ เพียงวิธีเดียวในแต่ละชิ้นส่วน เนื่องจากเป็นวิธีที่สามารถซ่อมแซมความเสียที่เกิดขึ้นได้ในหลายๆความเสียหาย และสามารถใช้ได้ในหลายๆชิ้นส่วนที่เกิดความเสียหาย นอกจากนี้ จากการศึกษาพบว่ามีการใช้งบประมาณและระยะเวลาในการซ่อมแซมเฉลี่ยสำหรับแต่ละชิ้นส่วนดังนี้ 1.เสาตอม่อ ใช้งบประมาณเฉลี่ย 76,980 บาทต่อ 1 ต้น ใช้ระยะเวลาเฉลี่ย 70 วันต่อ 1 โครงการ 2.คานรับพื้นสะพาน ใช้งบประมาณเฉลี่ย 5,650 บาทต่อ 1 ตารางเมตร ใช้ระยะเวลาเฉลี่ย 18 วันต่อ 1 โครงการ 3.ท้องพื้นสะพาน ใช้งบประมาณเฉลี่ย 12,707 บาทต่อ 1 ตารางเมตร ใช้ระยะเวลา 14 วันต่อ 1 โครงการ 4.คานยึดเสาตอม่อ ใช้งบประมาณ 12,815 บาทต่อ 1 ตารางเมตร ใช้ระยะเวลา 13 วันต่อ 1 โครงการ
