วันที่ ๔ ธันวาคม ของทุกปี ณ หมู่บ้านหนองพังนาค ตำบลเสือโฮก อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดชัยนาท ชาวบ้านจะทำพิธีกวนข้าวทิพย์ หรือข้าวมธุปายาธจนเป็นประเพณีที่สืบต่อกันมาจนถึงปัจจุบัน
ความสำคัญ
ตามประวัติสมัยพุทธกาล เชื่อว่านางสุชาดา ได้นำข้าวทิพย์ หรือข้าวมธุปายาธถวายพระพุทธเจ้า ก่อนที่พระองค์จะได้ตรัสรู้ในวันเพ็ญเดือนสิบสอง ดังนั้นชาวพุทธจึงถือว่าข้าวทิพย์ หรือข้าวมธุปายาธเป็นอาหารทิพย์ และได้ทำถวายแด่พระสงฆ์ในฤดูก่อนเดือนสิบสอง
