การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์คือ ๑) เพื่อศึกษาการบริหารสิ่งแวดล้อมในโรงเรียน ๒) เพื่อศึกษาเปรียบเทียบความคิดเห็นการบริหารสิ่งแวดล้อมในโรงเรียน ๓) เพื่อศึกษาแนวทางการพัฒนาของการบริหารสิ่งแวดล้อมในโรงเรียน สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศึกษาสมุทรปราการ เขต ๑
