สวนขวัญเมือง พรุบาโกย ตั้งอยู่ในเขตเทศบาล 1 ในเขตเทศบาลเมืองยะลา ห่างจากศาลเจ้าพ่อหลักเมืองยะลาเพียงประมาณ 300 เมตร เป็นสวนสาธารณะของเทศบาลเมืองยะลา พื้นที่รวมทั้งสิ้นประมาณ 207 ไร่ สวนขวัญเมืองแห่งนี้สร้างขึ้นในสมัยพลเอกเปรม ติณสูลานนท์ ดำรงตำแหน่งนายกรัฐมนตรี ซึ่งท่านได้เดินทางมาทำพิธีเปิดป้ายชื่อ "สวนขวัญเมือง" เมื่อวันที่ 21 กรกฎาคม พ.ศ. 2529
