ปัจจุบันประเทศไทยเริ่มก้าวเข้าสู่ประชาคมอาเซียนอย่างเป็นทางการทำให้มีการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษเป็นภาษากลางในการติดต่อสื่อสารและเป็นภาษาสากลที่ทั่วโลกยอมรับและเมื่อประเทศไทยเราเข้าสู่อาเซียนแล้วภาษาอังกฤษจึงเข้ามามีบทบาทในชีวิตประจำวัน ทำให้กลุ่มของข้าพเจ้ามีแนวคิดในการจัดทำโครงงานเรื่องการเตรียมความพร้อมภาษาอังกฤษสู่อาเซียน สำหรับนักศึกษาโปรแกรมวิชาการประถมศึกษาขึ้นมาเพื่อให้นักศึกษามีความรู้ความเข้าใจในภาษาอังกฤษอย่างมากขึ้นเพื่อให้เท่าทันกับประเทศอื่นๆในประเทศอาเซียน
