ปริญญานิพนธ์นี้ ได้นำเสนอ เครื่องตรวจจับความเคลื่อนไหวอัตโนมัติ เพื่อรักษาความปลอดภัยเฉพาะจุด เพื่อลดการใช้งานพื้นที่หน่วยความจำ โดยใช้บอร์ดไมโครคอลโทลเลอร์ Raspberry Pi เป็นตัวควบคุมการทำงานของระบบ โดยใช้ทฤษฎีการประมวลผลภาพ (Image processing) ในการตรวจจับการเคลื่อนไหว พัฒนาระบบด้วยโปรแกรมภาษา C++ มีลักษณะเด่นคือ สามารถบันทึกไฟล์รูปภาพ .jpg ลงในหน่วยความจำ Micro SD Card โดยจะบันทึกภาพเฉพาะเวลาที่มีวัตถุเคลื่อนไหว ไม่บันทึกภาพตลอดเวลา จึงใช้หน่วยความจำลดลง และสามารถทำงานด้วยตัวของมันเองโดยไม่ต้องเชื่อมต่อเข้ากับคอมพิวเตอร์ ซึ่งมีความแม่นยำในการถ่ายภาพ คิดเป็นร้อยละ 100 โครงงานนี้สามารถนำไปใช้ในการรักษาความปลอดภัยเฉพาะจุดได้จริง และช่วยอำนวยความสะดวกต่อชีวิตประจำวันได้
