บทคัดย่อ

การศึกษาภูมิปัญญาการทอเสื่อกกบ้านตาพราม ตำบลเทพรักษา อำเภอสังขะ จังหวัดสุรินทร์ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ ศึกษาภูมิปัญญาการทอเสื่อกกและศึกษาแนวทางการสืบสานภูมิปัญญาการทอเสื่อกกบ้านตาพราม โดยใช้วิธีการศึกษาเชิงคุณภาพ การสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก การสังเกตแบบมีส่วนร่วมและไม่มีส่วนร่วม และการสนทนากลุ่ม ผลการศึกษาพบว่า
ภูมิปัญญาการทอเสื่อกกบ้านตาพราม ประกอบด้วยขั้นตอนการปลูกกก การเก็บเกี่ยว การจักกก การย้อมสี การทอเสื่อและการแปรรูปผลิตภัณฑ์ ลวดลายการทอเสื่อกก การแปรรูปผลิตภัณฑ์ มี 3 ขั้นตอน คือ การออกแบบ การตัด และการเย็บ ผลิตภัณฑ์การแปรรูปโดยแบ่งออกเป็น 3 กลุ่ม คือ ผลิตภัณฑ์เพื่อการตกแต่ง ได้แก่ ปกสมุดโน้ต กล่องกระดาษทิชชูและกล่องใส่เอกสาร ผลิตภัณฑ์เพื่อเครื่องเรือน ได้แก่ เสื่อรองหม้อ แผ่นรองแก้ว แผ่นรองจานข้าว และผลิตภัณฑ์ที่ใช้ในชีวิต
ประจำวัน เช่น เสื่อพับ กระเป๋า เสื่อเอนกประสงค์ แผ่นรองนั่งสำหรับ 1 คน
แนวทางการสืบสานภูมิปัญญาการทอเสื่อกกบ้านตาพราม หน่วยงานภาครัฐควรเข้ามามีบทบาทในการช่วยเหลือ พัฒนาและอนุรักษ์ ส่งเสริมในเรื่องการเผยแพร่ภูมิปัญญาการทอเสื่อกก ซึ่งเป็นการกระตุ้นให้ชุมชนเกิดความรัก ความหวงแหนและภาคภูมิใจในภูมิปัญญาของบรรพบุรุษ และพัฒนาให้เป็นแหล่งท่องเที่ยวที่สำคัญ
