- ศึกษาแนวคิด ทฤษฎี และงานวิจัยต่าง ๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับกิจกรรมแนะแนวและความฉลาดทางอารมณ์
- ตรวจสอบคุณภาพของเครื่องมือ คือ แบบประเมินความฉลาดทางอารมณ์ของกรมสุขภาพจิต
โดยนำไปทดลองใช้กับนักเรียน จำนวน 40 คน เพื่อนำคะแนนที่ได้มาหาค่าอำนาจจำแนกรายข้อและหาค่าความเที่ยง
ของแบบวัดทั้งฉบับเพื่อความมั่นใจในการนำมาใช้กับกลุ่มตัวอย่าง
- สร้างและพัฒนาชุดกิจกรรมเพื่อเสริมสร้างความฉลาดทางอารมณ์ และตรวจสอบ
ประสิทธิภาพของชุดกิจกรรมด้วยการให้ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ 5 ท่านประเมินความตรงตามเนื้อหาและความตรงเชิงโครงสร้าง
และนำชุดกิจกรรมไปทดลองใช้โดยนักเรียนที่มีลักษณะใกล้เคียงกับกลุ่มตัวอย่างเพื่อนำข้อมูลที่ได้มาปรับปรุงให้ชุดกิจกรรม
มีความสอดคล้องทั้งด้านเนื้อหา เวลา ตลอดจนกระบวนการดำเนินกิจกรรมและภาษาที่ใช้
- ดำเนินการวัดความฉลาดทางอารมณ์กับนักเรียนช่วงชั้นที่ 3
- รับสมัครนักเรียนที่มีคะแนนความฉลาดทางอารมณ์ต่ำกว่า 140 คะแนนลงมาเข้าร่วมกิจกรรม
โดยการสุ่มอย่างง่าย จำนวน 15 คน และใช้คะแนนที่ได้เป็นคะแนนก่อนการทดลอง(Pretes)
- ดำเนินการทดลองกับกลุ่มทดลองโดยให้กิจกรรมตามชุดกิจกรรม จำนวน 14 กิจกรรม
(โดยทดลองสัปดาห์ละ 1 ครั้ง ๆ ละ 60 นาที ในวันจันทร์ (ชั่วโมงพัฒนาผู้เรียน)
ตั้งแต่วันที่ 1 พฤศจิกายน 2548 ถึงวันที่ 17 กุมภาพันธ์ 2549
- ทำการทดสอบหลังการทดลอง (Posttest) โดยให้กลุ่มทดลองทำแบบประเมิน
ความฉลาดทางอารมณ์หลังจากการทดลอง 1 สัปดาห์
- นำคะแนนที่ได้จากแบบประเมินไปทำการวิเคราะห์ เปรียบเทียบด้วยวิธีการทางสถิติ
