ภายในสถานที่จัดแสดงมีโครงกระดูกไดโนเสาร์ตัวสูงใหญ่ยืนอวดโฉมให้กับผู้ที่มาเยี่ยมชมรวมถึงมีนิทรรศการจัดแสดงเกี่ยวกับประวัติความเป็นมาของไดโนเสาร์รวมไปถึงประวัติความเป็นมาของไดโนเสาร์เชียงม่วน ไดโนเสาร์เชียงม่วนเป็นไดโนเสาร์ตัวแรกที่ค้นพบในภาคเหนือ ระหว่างปี พ.ศ. 2545 – 2552 นายวรวุธ สุธีธร นักโบราณชีววิทยา หัวหน้าคณะสำรวจของกรมทรัพยากรธรณีได้นำคณะสำรวจเข้ามาทำการขุดค้นซากดึกดำ บรรพ์ที่พบที่ อ.เชียงม่วน จ.พะเยา พบซากกระดูกไดโนเสาร์วางตัวเรียงต่อกันในแนวทิศเหนือ-ทิศใต้ จำนวน 104 ชิ้น ประกอบด้วยกระดูกคอ กระดูกสันหลัง กระดูกโคนหาง กระดูกสะโพกและกระดูกซี่โครง ผลการตรวจสอบทำให้ทราบว่าซากดึกดำบรรพ์ที่ค้นพบเป็นซากไดโนเสาร์ซอโรพอด ซึ่งมีคอยาว หางยาว เดิน 4 ขา และกินพืชเป็นอาหาร ปัจจุบันยังไม่สามารถระบุชนิดได้ แต่พบว่ามีลักษณะต่างจากไดโนเสาร์ซอโรพอดชนิดอื่นๆที่เคยพบในประเทศไทย สันนิษฐานว่าอาจเป็นชนิดพบใหม่ของโลก เนื่องจากแหล่งที่พบเป็นพื้นที่ใหม่ที่เพิ่งมีการค้นพบซากดึกดำบรรพ์ของไดโนเสาร์
