การศึกษาค้นคว้าครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อศึกษาลักษณะความเป็นนักพัฒนาการศึกษาของผู้บริหารสถานศึกษาในสังกัดสักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศรีสะเกษ เขต 2 2) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบความเป็นนักพัฒนาการศึกษาของผู้บริหารสถานศึกษาในสังกัดสักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศรีสะเกษ เขต 2 จำแนกตามวุฒิการศึกษาและประสบการณ์ในการบริหาร ประชากรและกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการศึกษาค้นคว้าได้แก่ ผู้บริหารโรงเรียนในสังกัดสักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศรีสะเกษ เขต 2 จำนวน 59 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการศึกษาค้นคว้า คือ แบบสอบถามความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับลักษณะความเป็นนักพัฒนาการศึกษาของผู้บริหารสถานศึกษา ลักษณะของแบบสอบถามตอนนี้เป็นแบบชนิดมาตราส่วนประมาณค่า (Rating Scale) มี 5 ระดับ จำนวน 20 ข้อ มีค่าความเชื่อมั่นทั้งฉบับ .90 สถิติที่ใช้วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลได้แก่ ค่าร้อยละ (Percentage) ค่าเฉลี่ย (Mean) ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน (Standard Deviation) และค่า t-test Independent และ วิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนทางเดียว (One-way ANOVA)

1. ผู้บริหารสถานศึกษาในสังกัดสักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศรีสะเกษ เขต 2 จำนวน 59 คน มีวุฒิการศึกษาสูงกว่าระดับปริญญาตรี จำนวน 38 คน คิดเป็นร้อยละ 64.40 มีประสบการณ์ทำงานอยู่ระหว่าง 11-20 ปี จำนวน 26 คน คิดเป็นร้อยละ 44.06 และมีลักษณะความเป็นพนักงานพัฒนาการศึกษาของผู้บริหารสถานศึกษาโดยรวมทุกด้าน อยู่ในระดับมาก โดยมีค่าเฉลี่ย 4.05 และเมื่อพิจารณารายด้านพบว่า อยู่ในระดับมากทุกด้าน โดยมีด้านการมีภาวะผู้นำ มีค่าเฉลี่ย 4.24 ด้านเป็นผู้ที่มีวิสัยทัศน์ในการจัดการศึกษาทันต่อการเปลี่ยนแปลง มีค่าเฉลี่ย 4.17 ด้านความมีคุณธรรมจริยธรรมเป็นที่ยอมรับของสังคม มีค่าเฉลี่ย 4.01 ด้านการบริหารงานสถานศึกษา มีค่าเฉลี่ย 3.94 และด้านการนำเทคโนโลยีใช้ในการบริหารงาน มีค่าเฉลี่ย 3.91
