วัดพระธาตุเสด็จ ตั้งอยู่ที่บ้านเสด็จ ตำบลเสด็จ ห่างจากตัวเมืองไปตามเส้นทางลำปาง-งาว ประมาณ 19 กิโลเมตร แยกซ้ายตรงกิโลเมตรที่ 617-618 เข้าไปประมาณ 1.5 กิโลเมตร วัดพระธาตุเสด็จเป็นโบราณสถานอีกแห่งหนึ่งของจังหวัดลำปาง มีตำนานกล่าวว่าสร้างขึ้นในสมัยพระนางจามเทวี อุโบสถและวิหารต่าง ๆ เช่น วิหารโคมคำ (วิหารพระพุทธ) วิหารจามเทวี ซึ่งเป็นโบราณสถานที่เก่าแก่ ได้รับการบูรณะใหม่ทั้งหมดแต่ยังคงสภาพศิลปะโบราณให้เห็นได้อยู่จนปัจจุบัน กรมศิลปากรได้ขึ้นทะเบียนไว้เป็นโบราณสถานของชาติแล้ว
พุทธสถานที่สำคัญคือ องค์พระธาตุเสด็จ บรรจุพระบรมสารีริกธาตุ เป็นเจดีย์แบบล้านนา ลักษณะคล้ายพระธาตุลำปางหลวงแต่องค์เล็กกว่า นอกจากนี้ยังมีวิหารใหญ่ เรียกว่า “วิหารกลาง” ประดิษฐานพระพุทธรูปสำริดปางลีลาองค์ใหญ่มีพุทธลักษณะงดงามนามว่า “หลวงพ่อห้ามญาติ” วิหารหลวง เรียกว่า “วิหารจามเทวี” ประดิษฐานพุทธรูปสำริดปางมารวิชัย ศิลปะเชียงแสน และวิหารพระพุทธประดิษฐาน “พระเจ้าดำองค์อ้วน” พระพุทธรูปสำริดปางมารวิชัย
นอกจากนี้ภายในวัดมีพิพิธภัณฑ์วัดพระธาตุ จัดแสดงพระพุทธรูปสมัยต่าง ๆ พระคำภีร์ใบลาน
