บทคัดย่อ
มะนาวเป็นพืชเศรษฐกิจที่สำคัญอย่างหนึ่งในท้องตลาด และมันแกว เป็นพืชเศรษฐกิจที่สำคัญของอำเภอบรบือ จังหวัดมหาสารคาม ในเมล็ดมันแกวมีความเป็นพิษต่อสัตว์อื่นๆ ซึ่งหนอนถือว่าเป็นศัตรูพืชชนิดหนึ่งที่สร้างความเสียหายให้แก่ต้นมะนาว ดังนั้นผู้จัดทำจึงได้ทำการทดลองโดยนำเมล็ดมันแกวมาทำการสกัดโดยใช้ตัวทำละลาย 3 ชนิด ได้แก่ เอทานอล เฮกเซน และน้ำ ปริมาตร 500 มิลลิลิตร ต่อเมล็ดมันแกว 50 กรัม พบว่า เฮกเซนใช้สกัดสารจากเมล็ดมันแกวได้ดีที่สุด หลังจากนั้นนำสารที่กรองได้ไประเหยใน Water Bath เพื่อให้เฮกเซนระเหยออกจนหมด เมื่อได้สารที่ต้องการจึงแล้วนำมาทดสอบประสิทธิภาพในการกำจัดหนอนในต้นมะนาว พบว่าสารสกัดที่ได้เข้มข้น 1000 ppm เมื่อนำมาฉีดกำจัดหนอน โดยใช้เวลาเฉลี่ย 06.07นาที
