บช.น.เสนอแก้กฎหมายเพิ่มโทษสถานบริการเถื่อน : สายตรวจระวังภัย ปฏิญญา เอี่ยมตาล
ที่ผ่านมาสถานบริการหลายแห่ง ถูกใช้เป็นสถานที่มั่วสุมโดยเฉพาะในกลุ่มเยาวชน หลายแห่งมีปัญหาแพร่ระบาดของยาเสพติด รวมถึงเป็นสถานที่ที่สุ่มเสี่ยงต่อการเกิดคดีอาชญากรรม

นับตั้งแต่นโยบายจัดระเบียบสังคมมีผลบังคับใช้ ทำให้มีมาตรการต่างๆ ออกมาควบคุมสถานบริการอย่างเข้มงวด แต่มาตรการเหล่านั้นประสบผลสำเร็จบ้าง ล้มเหลวบ้าง คละเคล้ากันไป ซึ่งสาเหตุที่ทำให้มาตรการต่างๆ ล้มเหลว ส่วนหนึ่งเป็นเพราะผู้ประกอบการเองไม่ให้ความร่วมมือ และในจำนวนนั้นมีไม่น้อยที่ไม่ดำเนินการตามกฎหมาย โดยเฉพาะเรื่องการไม่ขออนุญาตเปิดสถานบริการให้ถูกต้อง
ล่าสุด คณะทำงานตรวจสอบสถานบริการ กองบัญชาการตำรวจนครบาล มีการเสนอให้มีการปรับปรุงแก้ไขกฎหมายต่างๆ ที่เกี่ยวกับสถานบริการใหม่ให้มีความรัดกุมมากยิ่งขึ้น พร้อมทั้งร่างกฎหมายเพิ่มเติมในรายละเอียดเพื่อปรับปรุงให้กฎหมายมีความทันสมัยเข้ากับสถานการณ์จริง ซึ่งได้จัดทำเสร็จสิ้นแล้ว และได้ส่งเรื่องให้คณะกรรมการพิจารณาร่างกฎหมายของสำนักงานตำรวจแห่งชาติ ดำเนินการต่อ
ซึ่งหลังจากผ่านการพิจารณากลั่นกรองจากคณะกรรมการพิจารณาร่างกฎหมายของสำนักงานตำรวจแห่งชาติ แล้วจะส่งเรื่องให้ผู้เกี่ยวข้องเพื่อดำเนินการบังคับใช้กฎหมายต่อไป

"หลังการแก้กฎหมายเสร็จสิ้น เชื่อว่าจะควบคุมสถานบริการไม่ให้กระทำผิดกฎหมายได้มากยิ่งขึ้น ทั้งนี้ เพื่อความเป็นระเบียบเรียบร้อยของสังคม"
