1.เพื่อสำรวจข้อมูลของนักเรียนโรงเรียนอนุกูลนารีในเลือกชนิดกีฬา
2. เพื่อสำรวจความถนัดในการเล่นกีฬาของนักเรียนโรงเรียนอนุกูลนารี
3.เพื่อศึกษาเหตุผลในการเล่นกีฬาแต่ละ ประเภทของนักเรียนอนุกูลนารี

1.ด้านเนื้อหา
การวิจัยในครั้งนี้ มุ่งศึกษาสำรวจความนิยมในการเล่นกีฬาของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย
2.ด้านประชากรและกลุ่มตัวอย่าง
ประชากรที่ใช้ในการวิจัยในเรื่องนี้ ผู้ศึกษาดำเนินการศึกษาจากนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายของโรงเรียนอนุกูลนารี อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดกาฬสินธุ์ ปีการศึกษา2557 จำนวน 1704 คน
กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ คือ ผู้ศึกดำเนินการศึกษาจากนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายของโรงเรียนอนุกูลนารี ได้ศึกษากลุ่มตัวอย่าง( กำหนดขนาดของกลุ่มตัวอย่างโดยการเปิดตารางสำเร็จรูปตามเกณฑ์ของ (Krejcie and Morgan 1970 : 608, อ้างถึงใน ธีรวุฒิ เอกะกุล 2546 : 143-144) ได้กลุ่มตัวอย่าง 313 คน
