การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงทดลอง มีวัตถุประสงค์ที่จะสร้างแบบฝึกเพื่อพัฒนาทักษะกีฬาเซปักตะกร้อ สำหรับนักเรียนระดับมัธยมศึกษาตอนต้น กลุ่มเป้าหมายเป็นนักเรียนชายระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3 โรงเรียนกำแพงดินพิทยาคม ตำบลกำแพงดิน อำเภอสามง่าม จังหวัดพิจิตร สังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษา เขต 41 ปีการศึกษา 2554 จำนวน 12 คน ในการดำเนินการวิจัยให้กลุ่มเป้าหมายฝึกเป็นเวลา 8 สัปดาห์ ๆ ละ 5 วัน แบบฝึกประกอบด้วย 4 รายการ คือ ทักษะการเดาะตะกร้อด้วยข้างเท้าด้านใน ทักษะการเสิร์ฟตะกร้อ ทักษะการตั้งกระกร้อ(การชง) และทักษะการโหม่งตะกร้อด้วยศีรษะ พิจารณาการพัฒนาของกลุ่มเป้าหมายที่เข้ารับการฝึกจากคะแนนแบบทดสอบเพื่อเปรียบเทียบทักษะกีฬาเซปักตะกร้อก่อนการฝึก ระหว่างการฝึก หลังการฝึกและหลังจากหยุดฝึกไปแล้ว 1 สัปดาห์โดยใช้แบบทดสอบชุดเดียวกัน
