การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ (1) เพื่อพัฒนาแบบฝึกทักษะการอ่านและการเขียนคำภาษาอังกฤษ กลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้ภาษาต่างประเทศ ชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ที่มีประสิทธิภาพตามเกณฑ์ 80/80 (2) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบคะแนนก่อนเรียนและหลังเรียนด้วยแบบฝึกทักษะการอ่านและการเขียนคำภาษาอังกฤษ กลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้ภาษาต่างประเทศ ชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 (3) เพื่อศึกษาดัชนีประสิทธิผลของการเรียนรู้ด้วยแบบฝึกทักษะการอ่านและการเขียนคำภาษาอังกฤษ กลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้ภาษาต่างประเทศ ชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 (4) เพื่อศึกษาความพึงพอใจของนักเรียน ที่มีต่อการจัดการเรียนรู้ ด้วยแบบฝึกทักษะการอ่านและการเขียนคำภาษาอังกฤษ กลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้ภาษาต่างประเทศชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5
กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 โรงเรียนบ้านดอนแดง อำเภอนาหว้า จังหวัดนครพนม ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2557 จำนวน 21 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยประกอบด้วย (1) แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ จำนวน 17 แผน แผนละ 1 ชั่วโมง โดยใช้แบบฝึกทักษะการอ่านและการเขียนคำภาษาอังกฤษ ชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ประกอบแผน (2) แบบฝึกทักษะการอ่านและการเขียนคำภาษาอังกฤษ ชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 จำนวน 5 เล่ม ดังนี้ แบบฝึกทักษะ ที่ 1 : Animals (สัตว์), แบบฝึกทักษะ ที่ 2 : The Weather and Seasons (ลักษณะภูมิอากาศและฤดู), แบบฝึกทักษะ ที่ 3 : Transportations (การเดินทาง),แบบฝึกทักษะ ที่ 4 : Fruits (ผลไม้), แบบฝึกทักษะ ที่ 5 : Clothes (เครื่องแต่งกาย) (3) แบบทดสอบวัดผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน เป็นแบบทดสอบปรนัย ชนิดเลือกตอบ 4 ตัวเลือก จำนวน 30 ข้อ(4)แบบสอบถามความพึงพอใจของนักเรียนที่มีต่อการจัดการเรียนรู้ ด้วยแบบฝึกทักษะการอ่านและการเขียนคำภาษาอังกฤษ ชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5
ผลการวิจัยพบว่า (1) แบบฝึกทักษะการอ่านและเขียนคำภาษาอังกฤษ ชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ที่คณะผู้จัยสร้างขึ้นพบว่า มีประสิทธิภาพ 85.08/84.10 สูงกว่าเกณฑ์ 80/80 ที่กำหนด เป็นไปตามสมมติฐานที่ตั้งไว้ (2) คะแนนผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนหลังจากเรียนด้วยแบบฝึกทักษะการอ่านและเขียนคำภาษาอังกฤษ ชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 หลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียน อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ ร้อยละ 50% เป็นไปตามสมมติฐานที่ตั้งไว้ (3) ดัชนีประสิทธิผลของแบบฝึกทักษะการอ่านและเขียนคำภาษาอังกฤษ ชั้นประถม ศึกษาปีที่ 5 มีค่าเท่ากับ 0.7181 หมายความว่า นักเรียน มีประสิทธิภาพในการเรียนรู้เพิ่มมากขึ้นร้อยละ 71.81 เป็นไปตามสมมติฐานที่ตั้งไว้ (4) นักเรียนที่เรียนด้วยแบบฝึกทักษะการอ่านและเขียนคำภาษาอังกฤษ ชั้นประถม ศึกษาปีที่ 5 โดยภาพรวมมีความพึงพอใจเฉลี่ย ( ) เท่ากับ 4.40 และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน (S.D.) เท่ากับ 0.76 แสดงว่านักเรียนมีความพึงพอใจต่อการจัดการเรียนรู้ด้วยแบบฝึกทักษะการอ่านและเขียนคำภาษาอังกฤษ ชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 อยู่ในระดับมาก
