ผลการวิจัย พบว่า นักศึกษาสาขาสถิติประยุกต์ คณะวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลธัญบุรี แนวทางในการทำศัลยกรรมบนใบหน้าให้ถูกวิธี พบว่าวิธีการที่ผู้ตอบแบบสอบถามเลือกเป็นลำดับแรกคือ ปรึกษาครอบครัว จำนวน 8 คน คิดเป็นร้อยละ 36.4 ความคลาดเคลื่อนมาตรฐานของสัดส่วนเท่ากับ 0.09 และสัมประสิทธิ์การแปรผันของสัดส่วนเท่ากับ 25.00 % ลำดับที่สองคือ ปรึกษาแพทย์ผู้เชียวชาญทางด้านศัลยกรรม จำนวน 7 คน คิดเป็นร้อยละ 31.8 ความคลาดเคลื่อนมาตรฐานของสัดส่วนเท่ากับ 0.09 และสัมประสิทธิ์การแปรผันของสัดส่วนเท่ากับ 28.12 % และลำดับที่สามคือ ขอคำแนะนำจากผู้ที่เคยเข้ารับการทำศัลยกรรมมาก่อนและศึกษาข้อมูลว่าควรปฏิบัติตัวอย่างไรทั้งก่อนและหลังการทำศัลยกรรม จำนวน 5 คน คิดเป็นร้อยละ 22.7 ความคลาดเคลื่อนมาตรฐานของสัดส่วนเท่ากับ 0.08 และสัมประสิทธิ์การแปรผันของสัดส่วนเท่ากับ 34.78 %
