รายงานวิจัยเรื่อง คุณภาพการศึกษาไทย มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาการใช้อินเทอร์เน็ตของนักเรียนไทยซึ่งมีผลกระทบต่อการศึกษาไทยในปัจจุบัน
โดยจะศึกษาเกี่ยวกับบทความที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการใช้อินเทอร์เน็ตซึ่งมีผลก่อการเรียนและประสิทธิภาพของการศึกษา สำรวจข้อมูลจากเว็บไซต์เกี่ยวกับการใช้อินเทอร์เน็ตและการศึกษาของไทย มีการเก็บข้อมูลที่เป็นประโยชน์ต่อการวิจัยและข้อมูลที่เป็นตัวเลข ซึ่งข้อมูลที่ได้มาต้องมีการคล้ายคลึงกันหลายเว็บและน่าเชื่อถือมากที่สุด โดยนำข้อมูลที่ได้จากการใช้อินเทอร์เน็ตและคุณภาพการศึกษาของนักเรียนไทยมาวิเคราะห์หาค่าสถิติเป็นเปอร์เซ็นต์และนำค่าสถิติที่ได้ของแต่ละปีมาเปรียบเทียบกัน โดยที่จำนวนการใช้เครือข่ายอินเทอร์เน็ตตามประเภทในปี 2556 2557 2558เรียงตามลำดับมีดังนี้ ใช้ค้นหาข้อมูลซึ่งคิดเป็นร้อยละในแต่ละปีได้ 52.5 56.5 43.2ตามลำดับ ใช้งานเครือข่ายสังคมออนไลน์(Social Network) ซึ่งคิดเป็นร้อยละในแต่ละปีได้ 33.2 78.2 65.3ตามลำดับ ใช้เล่นเกมออนไลน์ซึ่งคิดเป็นร้อยละในแต่ละปีได้ 13.2 46.3 13.7ตามลำดับ ขณะเดียวกันมีการจัดอันดับคุณภาพการศึกษาระดับโลกในปี2556 2557 2558ได้มีดังนี้ อันดับ อันดับที่ 86 78 87ตามลำดับ
