การเตรียมพร้อมของเยาวชนไทยให้ก้าวไกลสู่อาเซียนนั้นเป็นเรื่องที่สำคัญ โดยอาเซียนนั้นเป็นการรวมตัวกันของ 10 ประเทศ ในทวีปเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ ให้เป็นชุมชนที่มีความแข็งแกร่ง สามารถสร้างโอกาสให้กับทุกคนและสามารถรับมือกับภัยคุกคามต่างๆและรูปแบบใหม่ๆได้ ทั้งด้านการเมือง ความมั่นคง เป็นต้น โดยทำให้สมาชิกในชุมชนมีสภาพความเป็นอยู่ที่ดี สามารถประกอบกิจกรรมทางเศรษฐกิจได้อย่างสะดวกยิ่งขึ้น
