วันที่ 8 สิงหาคม 2552 ได้มีโอกาสไปเที่ยวน้ำตกตาดโตน ชัยภูมิ เราออกเดินทางจากขอนแก่น ไปเที่ยวทุ่งดอกกระเจียวกันก่อน ขากลับก็แวะเข้าไปในเมืองชัยภูมิ ไหว้ศาลเจ้าพ่อพระยาแล ชมเต่ายักษ์ด้วยแหละค่ะ พักรับทานก๋วยเตี๋ยวกระเหรี่ยง รสพริกขึ้นจมูก เด็กน้อยทานไม่ได้เพราะกลิ่นแรงคล้ายกลิ่นซูชิญี่ปุ่นค่ะ เสร็จก็ออกเดินทางต่อไปยังน้ำตกตาดโตน ก่อนเข้าเที่ยวน้ำตกตาดโตนเสียค่าผ่านประตูเข้าคนละ 20 บาท ค่ารถ 4 ล้อ 30 บาทช่วงนี้เค้าลดราคารถปกติรถ 60 บาท จะมีลานจอดรถห่างจากน้ำตกประมาณ 700 เมตร ต้องเดินต่ออีกนิดหนึ่งค่ะ
