ประเพณีของคนไทยการแต่งงาน
การแต่งงาน เป็นพิธีการซึ่งบุคคลสองคนรวมเข้ากันในการสมรสหรือสถาบันที่คล้ายกันพิธีการแต่งงานส่วนมากเกี่ยวข้องกับการแลกเปลี่ยนคำสาบานแต่งงานโดยคู่สมรส และมักตามด้วยงานเลี้ยงแต่งงาน


ในการแต่งงานของไทยโดยทั่วไป จะมีลำดับขั้นตอนดังนี้

3.พิธีแต่งงาน – ตอนเช้าจะทำบุญตักบาตรเลี้ยงพระ รดน้ำสังข์เพื่อให้ญาติผู้ใหญ่ ที่นับถือได้เป็นสักขีพยานในการแต่งงาน จากนั้นก็มักจะมีการกินเลี้ยงกัน
