Reflective Report
This is the third week of classes. When I arrived at the classroom, the first thing to do is send homework. Today the teacher teaches about Cognitive Reading Strategies. When the teacher came the classroom. A teacher told “I'll be a teacher will come back again 20 minutes” We are glad. Just 20 minutes teachers to return to the classroom. The teacher teach immediately.
The teacher talking about Making Connections is a topic first. The teacher explains Text-to-Self, Text-to-Text and Text-to-World.
The second topic is Asking Questions. I think Questions help students clarify and deepen understanding of the text they are reading. The question is the sentence or phrase used to find the answer that we don't understand.
The Third topic is Visualizing. Visualizing refers to our ability to create pictures in our heads based on text we read or words we hear Strategic readers picture what is happening as they read.
The forth topic is making predictions. I think use details from the story to make a good prediction. When you think about what will happen next. You can make predictions about stories you read.
The four topics are Summarizing and synthesizing. Summarizing and synthesizing
are two important reading comprehension strategies. Summarize for answer questions such as "What was the movie about?", "What did I miss in class today"
