ส่วนโจ๊กเกอร์ก็มีความรุ้สึกหลงใหลปลาบปลื้มในตัวของแบทแมนระดับนึง เขาเชื่อว่าใครที่ต้องพบกับเหตุการณ์เลวร้ายสุดๆอย่างที่ตนเจอ คนๆนั้นย่อมมีสภาพจิตใจไม่ต่างไปจากเขา เขามันพูดเสมอๆว่า “ทุกๆคนต้องมีวันที่แสนเลวร้ายอยุ่อย่างน้อยวันหนึ่งเสมอ” ฉะนั้นแทนที่โจ๊กเกอร์จะฆ่าแบทแมนทุกครั้งที่เจอ แต่เขากลับพยายามทำให้เเบทเเมนสติหลุดอย่างเค้า

โจ๊กเกอร์จึงเป็นศัตรูคู่รักคู่แค้นที่น่ากลัวที่สุดของแบทแมน มักจะเป็นการห่ำหันกันในเชิงจิตวิทยามากกว่าห่ำหันกันด้วยอาวุธ อีกทั้งเป็นเหมือนการต่อสู้กับด้านมืดในจิตใจตนเองด้วย ราวกับว่าต่างคนต่างก็เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของอีกคนหนึ่งนั่นเอง (มีเหตุการณ์หนึ่งที่เเสดงถึงความสัมพันธ์เเปลกๆของพวกเค้า ในตอนที่โจ๊กเกอร์ถูกวายร้ายอีกคนตามฆ่าเเละยิงเค้า เเบทเเมนที่ตามมาถึงทีหลังกลับเลือกที่จะช่วยเค้าเเละปล่อยให้คนยิงหนีไปได้ ยิ่งกว่านั้นเเบทเเมนได้เข้าเยี่ยมโจ๊กเกอร์ซึึ่งก็ถูกถามจากโจ๊กเกอร์เองว่าช่วยเค้าทำไม? เเน่นอนว่าไม่มีคำตอบใดๆจากเเบทเเมน เเต่มีสิ่งหนึ่งที่ออกมาจากปากโจ๊กเกอร์เอง นั่นคือคำว่า “ขอบคุณ” !!?)

เเละอีกคนที่ลืมไม่ได้ หลายๆคนคงรู้จักกับเเฟนสาวของโจ๊กเกอร์ “Harley Quinn” ความสัมพันธ์ของพวกเค้านั้นค่อนข้างซับซ้อน โจ๊กเกอร์มักจะพยายามทุกวิถีทางที่จะสลัดฮาร์เลย์ทิ้งไป ทั้งย้ายหนีโดยไม่บอก, ผลักให้แบทแมนจับ, ถึงขนาดวางแผนฆ่าก็มี แต่สุดท้ายฮาร์เลย์ก็กลับมาได้ทุกครั้ง
