การศึกษาค้นคว้าในครั้งนี้มีความมุ่งหมายเพื่อพัฒนาสื่อประสมพัฒนาทักษะทางการอ่าน
ภาษาอังกฤษ สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ให้มีประสิทธิภาพตามเกณฑ์ 80/80
เพื่อหาดัชนีประสิทธิผลของชุดสื่อประสม เพื่อใช้พัฒนาทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 เพื่อเปรียบเทียบผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษ ก่อนเรียนและหลังเรียนของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 จากการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้พัฒนาทักษะการอ่าน โดยใช้สื่อประสม และเพื่อศึกษาความพึงพอใจของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ที่มีต่อการเรียนด้วยชุดสื่อประสม กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้คือ นักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 โรงเรียนอนุบาลเซกา อำเภอเซกา
จังหวัดบึงกาฬ จำนวน 20 คน ที่ได้มาโดยวิธีการเลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่างแบบเจาะจง (Purposive Sampling) เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการศึกษาค้นคว้าได้แก่ สื่อประสมเพื่อเสริมสร้างทักษะทางการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษ สำหรับนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 แบบวัดทักษะทางการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 เป็นแบบทดสอบชนิดเลือกตอบ 4 ตัวเลือก จำนวน 20 ข้อ และแบบวัดความพึงพอใจในการเรียนด้วยสื่อประสมเพื่อสร้างเสริมทักษะการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 จัดทำเป็นมาตราส่วนแบบค่า 3 ระดับ จำนวน 10 ข้อ สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลคือ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ยและส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน
