บทคัดย่อ

การดื่มเครื่องดื่มแอลกอฮอล์ของคนไทยในปัจจุบัน โดยเฉพาะการดื่มของวัยรุ่นเป็นปัญหาใหญ่ในสังคมอีกทั้งยังทวีความรุนแรงเพิ่มมากขึ้นเรื่อยๆไม่ใช่เพียงผู้ใหญ่ที่ดื่มแอลกอฮอล์ แต่ยังมีทั้งเด็กวัยรุ่น และเยาวชนที่ดื่มเครื่องดื่มแอลกอฮอล์เพิ่มขึ้นเป็นจำนวนมาก เพราะปัญหาของวัยรุ่นในการดื่มเครื่องดื่มแอลกอฮอล์ผสม ไม่ว่าจะเป็น เหล้า เบียร์ ไวน์ มีมากขึ้นทุกวัน ไม่ใช่เพียงแต่ต่างประเทศเท่านั้นแต่มีในทุกประเทศ เนื่องจากวัยรุ่นเป็นวัยที่ชอบอยากรู้ ทดลอง สิ่งต่างๆและวัยรุ่นเป็นวัยแห่งการเปลี่ยนแปลงในทุกๆด้านซึ่งอาจจะเป็นสาเหตุนำไปสู่การแสดงออกทางพฤติกรรมต่างๆ ที่ไม่เหมาะสม อาจนำไปสู่การเปลี่ยนแปลงด้านสังคมของวัยรุ่น เช่น การคบเพื่อน การต้องการทางความเป็นอิสระ ทำให้เกิดปัญหาความขัดแย้งกับผู้ปกครองอาจเป็นสาเหตุนำไปสู่พฤติกรรมการดื่มเครื่องดื่มแอลกอฮอล์ของวัยรุ่นได้ โดยเฉพาะวัยรุ่นที่มีปัญหาทางด้านครอบครัว และในปัจจุบันมีแนวโน้มว่าจะเกิดปัญหาขึ้นในวัยที่มีอายุน้อย

จากสถิติอายุเฉลี่ยที่เด็กวัยรุ่นเริ่มดื่มเครื่องดื่มแอลกอฮอล์ คืออายุ 12 ปีขึ้นไป และแต่ละปี จะมีวัยรุ่นจำนวน 4 ล้าน 6 แสนคน อายุระหว่าง 15 – 19 ปี จะมีปัญหาที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการดื่มเครื่องดื่มแอลกอฮอล์เพิ่มขึ้น เช่น ทำให้การเรียนตกต่ำ มีปัญหากับผู้ปกครอง จากการการดื่มเครื่องดื่มแอลกอฮอล์จะส่งผลกระทบต่อวัยรุ่นทั้งด้านร่างกาย จิตใจ อารมณ์ สังคม

วัยรุ่นที่ดื่มเครื่องดื่มแอลกอฮอล์เป็นประจำจะทำให้เกิดการติดแอลกอฮอล์ได้ จากความรุนแรงของปัญหาและผลกระทบที่เกิดจากพฤติกรรมการดื่มเครื่องดื่มแอลกอฮอล์ของวัยรุ่น เช่น ทำให้อ้วน ความดันโลหิตสูง ความผิดปกติของสมอง พฤติกรรมเชาวน์ปัญญา มีพฤติกรรมเสี่ยงทางเพศ ผลการเรียนตกต่ำ ก่อให้เกิดการติดสุราเมื่อเข้าสู่วัยผู้ใหญ่ มีพฤติกรรมส่อไปในทางการเกิดอาชญากรรมเพิ่มขึ้นจนบางคนถึงขนาดถูกจับกุมดำเนินคดีได้และที่สำคัญ คือปัญหาการเกิดอุบัติเหตุเป็นพฤติกรรมเสี่ยงอย่างหนึ่งที่มีจำนวนเพิ่มขึ้นเรื่อยๆในแต่ละปี โดยเฉพาะอุบัติเหตุจากการจราจรทางบนท้องถนน ซึ่งเป็นอุบัติเหตุที่มีความรุนแรง และทำให้มีผู้บาดเจ็บและมีผู้เสียชีวิตเป็นจำนวนมากโดยเฉพาะช่วงเทศกาลที่มีวันหยุดติดต่อกันหลายๆวันเช่น เทศกาลปีใหม่ และเทศกาลสงกรานต์ เป็นต้น
