อาชีพพยาบาล เป็นอาชีพที่เรียกได้ว่า เสียสละส่วนตัวเพื่อส่วนรวมเป็นส่วนใหญ่ ต้องทุ่มเทและใส่ใจชีวิตและจิตใจของผู้ป่วยที่ต้องเข้ารับการรักษาอย่างสม่ำเสมอ ต้องอดทนต่อสิ่งที่รุมเร้า ไม่ว่าจะเป็นโรคภัยไข้เจ็บ หรือ อารมณ์ของผู้ป่วย ต้องทำหน้าที่ที่จะต้องทำให้ผู้ป่วยทุกๆคน มีอาการที่ดีขึ้น
