วันสมานมิตรคือวันที่ชาวสวนกุหลาบทั้งมวลต่างรอคอย เพราะวันนี้เป็นเพียงวันเดียวในรอบปีที่ชาวสวนกุหลาบฯจะได้กลับมารำลึกถึงความเป็นสวนกุหลาบร่วมกัน ซึ่งงานนี้มีกำหนดจัดขึ้นในวันจันทร์แรกของเดือนกันยายนของทุกปี สำหรัอาจารย์แล้ว วันนี้เป็นวันที่ท่าน ได้ชื่นชมกับผลงานความสำเร็จของบรรดาศิษย์เก่าทั้งหลายที่จะนำมาเล่าสู่กันฟังกับอาจารย์และรุ่นน้อง

ลักษณะทั่วไปของงานสมานมิตรในปัจจุบันคือ ในช่วงเช้าจะมีการจัดซุ้มเล่นเกมจากนักเรียนระดับชั้น ม.6 น้องๆ มีการจัดนำอาหารมาต้อนรับรุ่นพี่ที่ห้องเรียนของตน และมีการแสดงคอนเสิร์ตจากศิลปินทั้งศิษย์ปัจจุบันและศิษย์เก่า จากนั้นในช่วงเย็นจะมีการจัดซุ้มอาหารโดยเหล่าผู้ปกครอง มีการเตะฟุตบอลกระชับมิตร และในช่วงค่ำ จะมีการแสดงคอนเสิร์ตของวง SK Jazz มีกิจกรรมบนเวที โดยทุกปีทางคณะกรรมการนักเรียนได้มีการจำหน่ายของที่ระลึกวันสมานมิตร ซึ่งได้รับความสนใจอย่างล้นหลามเป็นประจำทุกปี นอกจากนี้ วันนี้ยังเป็นโอกาสที่รุ่นพี่ๆ จะมาย้อนรำลึกความหลังร่วมกันกับรุ่นน้อง เพื่อน รุ่นพี่ และท่านคณาจารย์ วันนี้จึงเป็นวันแสดงพลังของชาวสวนกุหลาบวิทยาลัยอีกวันหนึ่งเลยทีเดียว
