โครงงานนี้ทำการวิเคราะห์และออกแบบระบบบริหารจัดการการขนส่งน้ำมันด้วยอัลกอริทึมมด เพื่ออำนวยความสะดวกในการหาระยะทางที่เหมาะสมที่สุดในการขนส่งน้ำมัน ดังนั้นการวางแผนการขนส่งที่ดีทำให้บริษัทขนส่งน้ำมัน ประหยัดทั้งเชื้อเพลิง เวลา และทรัพยากรต่าง ๆ ในการขนส่งน้ำมัน ซึ่งส่งผลให้ต้นทุนในการขนส่งต่ำลง การศึกษาในครั้งนี้ ได้นำขั้นตอนวิธีอาณานิคมมด มาช่วยในการเลือกเส้นทางการขนส่งที่มีระยะที่เหมาะสมที่สุด โดยผู้พัฒนาได้วิเคราะห์และออกแบบระบบโดยใช้หลักการเชิงวัตถุ ร่วมกับซอฟต์แวร์โอเพนซอร์ส
