การศึกษาในครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) เพื่อศึกษาถึงปัจจัยเหตุที่มีอิทธิพลต่อการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมนักศึกษาในแต่ละด้าน ได้แก่ ด้านวิชาการ ด้านกีฬาและนันทนาการ ด้านทำนุบำรุงศิลปวัฒนธรรม และด้านบำเพ็ญประโยชน์ 2) เพื่อศึกษาความพึงพอใจในการจัดกิจกรรมนักศึกษา ด้วยเทคนิควิธีวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพและกำหนดขนาดของกลุ่มตัวอย่างโดยใช้สูตรคำนวณของ Taro Yamane จะได้จำนวนกลุ่มตัวอย่างเท่ากับ 370 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสอบถามจากนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีชั้นปีที่ 1-3 ของคณะวิทยาการจัดการ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏสวนสุนันทา โดยใช้วิธีการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลทางสถิติต่าง ๆ คือ ค่าความถี่ (Frequency) ค่าร้อยละ (Percentage) ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน(S.D.) ผลการวิจัยพบว่าตัวแปรต้นปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลมากที่สุดในการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมในแต่ละด้านมีความแตกต่างกันออกไป อาทิ ด้านวิชาการ : การฝึกทักษะเพิ่มพูนความรู้ ด้านกีฬาและนันทนาการ : กีฬาที่เข้าร่วมมีความน่าสนใจ ด้านทำนุบำรุงศิลปวัฒนธรรม : มีโอกาสสัมผัสกับศิลปวัฒนธรรมด้วยการปฏิบัติจริง ด้านบำเพ็ญประโยชน์ : การให้โอกาสกับผู้ที่ขาดแคลน โดยสอดคล้องกับตัวแปรตามระดับความพึงพอใจในการจัดกิจกรรมนักศึกษาซึ่งอยู่ในระดับมาก ทั้งการประชาสัมพันธ์ สถานที่ ระยะเวลา รูปแบบของกิจกรรม ประโยชน์ที่ได้รับ ภาพรวมทั้งหมดของกิจกรรมอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสิถิติ
