St. Andrews International School, Sukhumvit 107 is a world-class school focused on meeting your child's individual needs. Set within a vibrant and green suburban campus that is easily accessible from the city, with the schools entrance at the foot of Bearing BTS station. We aim to provide a stimulating, child centred learning environment for our students. The curriculum is aligned with English National Curriculum standards using the IB framework, standards and practises. The curriculum is organised into blocks of years called ‘key stages’ (KS). Year 7 to 9 students follow the Key Stage 3 (age 11-14), Year 10 and 11 (age 14-16) students follow a two-year Key Stage 4 IGCSE course. We follow the IB Diploma in Years 12 and 13 as this challenges students preparing them for University. It is broad and balanced, encouraging active participation so that children take an important role in their own education.
There is an emphasis on developing the key skills that children need to become confident learners. We strive to support the development of critical thinking through social and personal education, encouraging all children to become confident, responsible and ethical individuals.
The school has a team of qualified and dedicated staff and a cohesive faculty of teachers who provide a safe and challenging environment in which children can progress and develop. We want each child to be confident, happy and to develop a real love of learning, which they will carry with them throughout life.
Over the last year the school has enjoyed significant growth in students. To support this, Phase II of our campus opens Autumn 2015 adding further state-of-the-art facilities with a 4000 square metre multi-purpose building, housing a new canteen, auditorium, Art room, IT suite, Primary and Senior School libraries and a new Music block.
