การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนาผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนวิทยาศาสตร์ เรื่อง ชั้นบรรยากาศ โดยวิธีสอนแบบสืบเสาะหาความรู้ 7 ขั้น และ เพื่อเพื่อเปรียบเทียบผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนวิชาวิทยาศาสตร์ เรื่อง ชั้นบรรยากาศ ระหว่างก่อนเรียนและหลังเรียน ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 โดยวิธีสอนแบบสืบเสาะหาความรู้ 7 ขั้น ตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยในครั้งนี้เป็นนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2558 โรงเรียนน้ำริดวิทยา อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดอุตรดิตถ์ จำนวน 30 คน ได้มาจากการเลือกแบบสุ่มตัวอย่าง การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงทดลอง โดยใช้แบบแผนการวิจัย เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ประกอบด้วย 1) แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบสืบเสาะหาความรู้ 7 ขั้น เรื่อง ชั้นบรรยากาศ จำนวน 2 แผน 2) แบบทดสอบวัดผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าเฉลี่ยเลขคณิต ร้อยละ ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน
ผลการวิจัยพบว่า การสอนใช้วิธีการสอนแบบสืบเสาะหาความรู้ 7 ขั้น (1) ขั้นตรวจสอบความรู้เดิม (2) ขั้นเร้าความสนใจ (3) ขั้นสำรวจและค้นหา (4) ขั้นอธิบาย (5) ขั้นขยายความคิด (6) ขั้นประเมินผล (7) ขั้นนำความรู้ไปใช้ ได้นำกระบวนการทั้ง 7 ขั้นไปสอนกับนักเรียนกลุ่มเป้าหมายเรื่อง ชั้นบรรยากาศ พบว่าผลการทดสอบข้อสอบหลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียน
