การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาทัศนคติมีต่อการดื่มเครื่องดื่มแอลกอฮอล์ของนิสิตระดับปริญญาตรี คณะวิทยาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยบูรพา กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นนิสิตระดับปริญญาตรี คณะวิทยาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยบูรพา จำนวน 330 คน
ผลการศึกษาข้อมูลปัจจัยส่วนบุคคลพบว่า นิสิตส่วนใหญ่เป็นเพศหญิง เป็นนิสิตตั้งแต่ชั้นปีที่ 4 ขึ้นไป เป็นนิสิตภาควิชาคณิตศาสตร์ เป็นนิสิตที่มีรายได้เฉลี่ยต่อเดือนต่ำกว่า 5000 บาท เป็นนิสิตที่มีภูมิลำเนาภาคตะวันออก เป็นนิสิตที่พักอยู่หอพักเอกชน และเป็นนิสิตที่เคยดื่มเครื่องดื่มแอลกอฮอล์
