โครงงานวิทยาศาสตร์มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาการผลิตกระดาษจากเส้นใยธรรมชาติของฟางข้าวธูปฤาษี และผักตบชวา ให้มีคุณสมบัติที่เหมาะสมกับการขึ้นรูปบรรจุภัณฑ์อาหาร ศึกษาผลการดูดซับน้ำมันของกระดาษที่ผลิตจากฟางข้าว ธูปฤาษี และผักตบชวาและเพื่อประเมินความพึงพอใจต่อกระดาษซับน้ำมันจากเส้นใยธรรมชาติโดยใช้แบบสอบถาม เป็นเครื่องมือในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลจากกลุ่มตัวอย่าง จำนวน 30 คน ทำการวิเคราะห์โดยการหาค่าความถี่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าความถี่ และค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ผลการศึกษาพบว่ากระดาษผักตบชวามีคุณสมบัติที่เหมาะสมกับการขึ้นรูปบรรจุภัณฑ์อาหารมากที่สุด โดยผิวสัมผัสมีความหยาบในระดับน้อยที่สุด ค่าเฉลี่ยน้ำหนักมาตรฐาน 113.2 g/m2 ค่าเฉลี่ยความหนา 0.127 mm และค่าเฉลี่ยการดูดซับน้ำมัน0.22 มิลลิลิตรความพึงพอใจของผู้ตอบแบบประเมินที่มีต่อกระดาษซับน้ำมันจากเส้นใยธรรมชาติอยู่ในระดับมาก (x ̅= 4.07)กระดาษซับน้ำมันจากเส้นใยธรรมชาติของผักตบชวา มีคุณสมบัติที่เหมาะสมกับการขึ้นรูปบรรจุภัณฑ์
