การจัดทำโครงงานนี้เพื่อต้องการสร้างชิ้นงานที่ใช้ในการศึกษาเรียนรู้ที่เชื่อมโยงกับ แนวคิดทฤษฏีการเรียนรู้แบบสร้างสรรค์นิยมให้ผู้เรียนสร้างความรู้ใหม่ จากการใช้ปัญหาที่เกิดขึ้นจริงการเรียนรู้เพื่อให้ผู้เรียนเกิดทักษะการคิดวิเคราะห์และแก้ปัญหารวมทั้งได้ความรู้ ตามศาสตร์ในสาขาวิชาที่ศึกษาไปพร้อมกันด้วย
โครงงานวิศวกรรมนี้เป็นการจัดทำรถบั๊กกี้ซึ่งรถคันนี้เป็นรถ 4 ล้อ มีจุประสงค์ทำขึ้นเพื่อใช้เป็นยานพาหนะในการขนส่ง และศึกษาระบบของเครื่องยนต์ 2 สูบ 4 จังหวะ , ระบบบังคับเลี้ยว , ระบบส่งถ่ายกำลัง , ระบบรับการสั่นสะเทือน และยังฝึกทักษะในการประยุคใช้ ทักษะทางงานช่างต่างๆอีกด้วย รวมถึงการฝึกทำงานเป็นทีมในการทำโครงงานครั้งนี้
รถบั๊กกี้คันนี้เริ่มต้นจากการเตรียมการก่อนเริ่มทำ เช่น ประชุมวางแผน , ศึกษาค้นคว้าหาข้อมูล เป็นต้น การทำโครงงานครั้งนี้ได้ทำความรู้ในห้องเรียนและนอกห้องเรียนมาประยุกต์ในการสร้างสรรค์โดยนำเอาเครื่องยนต์ 2 สูงเรียง สี่จังหวะ และ อะไหล่อื่นๆมาใช้ประโยชน์ทั้งสิ้น
