การออกแบบอุปกรณ์ช่วยเปลี่ยนวาล์วในโครงงานครั้งนี้สืบเนื่องมาจากในตอนเปลี่ยนวาล์วของหม้อกรองน้ำอ้อย หลังจากถอดเปลี่ยนวาล์วที่เสียแล้วจะนำวาล์วที่ใช้ได้กลับเข้าไปใหม่นั้น การเปลี่ยนของพนักงานที่ใช้อุปกรณ์ตามที่มีในโรงงานนั้นไม่มีอุปกรณ์ช่วยทุ่นแรงจึงต้องออกแรงขณะใส่วาล์วกลับเข้าไป ส่งผลให้วาล์วเกิดการเสียหายและใส่น็อตได้ไม่ครบทุกตัว จึงต้องถอดออกแล้วใส่กลับเข้าไปใหม่ซึ่งเสียเวลาในการทำงาน กลุ่มเราจึงได้ออกแบบอุปกรณ์ช่วยในการเปลี่ยนวาล์ว ผลจากการออกแบบอุปกรณ์ช่วยแล้วนำไปทดสอบโดยใช้คนในการเปลี่ยนเพียง 2 คน งานแล้วเสร็จเวลารวม 17.12 นาที เนื่องจากอุปกรณ์ของเราสามารถลดการใช้แรงงานของคนได้ และยังสามารถนำไปใช้งานกับการเปลี่ยนวาล์วในแนวตั้งในส่วนอื่นได้อีก
