โครงงานนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์หลักเพื่อ ศึกษาโครงสร้าง หลักการ และออกแบบระบบอาคารอัตโนมัติ โดยการนำเอาระบบ PLC ไปประยุกต์ใช้ในการควบคุมอาคาร และระบบ SCADA เพื่อใช้ในการติดต่อกับผู้ใช้งาน เพื่อให้การใช้งานอาคารมีประสิทธิภาพมากขึ้นและลดรายจ่ายในการสูญเสียพลังงานที่ไม่จำเป็น โดยการศึกษาทฤษฏีอาคารอัตโนมัติ และการประยุกต์ใช้ PLC เพื่อนำมาวิเคราะห์และปรับปรุงการทำงานของอาคารได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพสูงสุด
