ตามที่กฎกระทรวง กำหนดมาตรฐานในการบริหารและการจัดการด้านความปลอดภัย อาชีวอนามัยและสภาพแวดล้อมในการทำงาน พ.ศ. 2549 ลงวันที่ 16 พฤษภาคม 2549 กำหนดให้นายจ้างแต่งตั้งลูกจ้างระดับหัวหน้างาน ซึ่งมีคุณสมบัติเฉพาะตามที่กำหนดในกฎกระทรวง เป็นเจ้าหน้าที่ความปลอดภัยในการทำงานระดับหัวหน้างานของสถานประกอบการ นั้น
บริษัท ไฮคอม ออโตโมทิฟ พลาสติกส์ (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด สถานประกอบกิจการเลขที่ 64/30 ตำบลปลวกแดง อำเภอปลวกแดง จังหวัดระยอง ประกอบกิจการ ชิ้นส่วนยายนยต์ที่ทำจากพลาสติก จึงแต่งตั้งลูกจ้างระดับหัวหน้างาน ซึ่งมีคุณสมบัติเฉพาะตามที่กำหนดในกฎกระทรวง ข้อ 8 จำนวน 2 ท่านเป็นเจ้าหน้าที่ความปลอดภัยในการทำงานระดับหัวหน้างาน ดังนี้
1. นายวิชัย มูลเทพพิชัย แผนก Polishing
2. นางสาวมาลิน ลือลาภ แผนก QA/QC
ให้ผู้ที่ได้รับการแต่งตั้งดังกล่าวข้างต้นมีหน้าที่ดังต่อไปนี้
1. กำกับ ดูแล ให้ลูกจ้างในหน่วยงานที่รับผิดชอบปฏิบัติตามข้อบังคับและคู่มือ
2. วิเคราะห์งานในหน่วยงานที่รับผิดชอบเพื่อค้นหาความเสี่ยงหรืออันตรายเบื้องต้น โดยอาจร่วมดำเนินการกับเจ้าหน้าที่ความปลอดภัยในการทำงานระดับเทคนิค ระดับเทคนิคขั้นสูงหรือระดับวิชาชีพ
3. สอนวิธีการปฏิบัติงานที่ถูกต้องแก่ลูกจ้างในหน่วยงานที่รับผิดชอบเพื่อให้เกิดความปลอดภัยในการปฏิบัติงาน
4. ตรวจสอบสภาพการทำงาน เครื่องจักร เครื่องมือ และอุปกรณ์ให้อยู่ในสภาพที่ปลอดภัยก่อนลงมือปฏิบัติงานประจำวัน
5. กำกับ ดูแล การใช้อุปกรณ์คุ้มครองความปลอดภัยส่วนบุคคลของลูกจ้างในหน่วยงานที่รับผิดชอบ
6. รายงานการประสบอันตราย การเจ็บป่วย หรือการเกิดเหตุเดือดร้อนรำคาญ อันเนื่องจากการทำงานของลูกจ้างต่อนายจ้าง และแจ้งต่อเจ้าหน้าที่ความปลอดภัยในการทำงานระดับเทคนิคระดับเทคนิคขั้นสูง หรือระดับวิชาชีพ สำหรับสถานประกอบกิจการที่มีหน่วยงานความปลอดภัยให้แจ้งต่อหน่วยงานความปลอดภัยทันทีที่เกิดเหตุ
7. ตรวจสอบหาสาเหตุการประสบอันตราย การเจ็บป่วย หรือการเกิดเหตุเดือดร้อนรำคาญอันเนื่องจากการทำงานของลูกจ้างร่วมกับเจ้าหน้าที่ความปลอดภัยในการทำงานระดับเทคนิค ระดับเทคนิคขั้นสูง หรือระดับวิชาชีพ และรายงานผล รวมทั้งเสนอแนะแนวทางแก้ไขปัญหาต่อนายจ้างโดยไม่ชักช้า
8. ส่งเสริมและสนับสนุนกิจกรรมความปลอดภัยในการทำงาน
9. ปฏิบัติงานด้วยความปลอดภัยในการทำงานอื่นตามที่เจ้าหน้าที่ความปลอดภัยในการทำงานระดับบริหารมอบหมาย
