จึงได้กระโจนลงไปในน้ำเพื่อที่จะแย่งก้อนเนื้ออีกก้อนหนึ่งจากเงาของมันเอง

แน่นอนมันย่อมหมดหวังที่จะได้ก้อนเนื้อก้อนนั้น
ซ้ำร้ายก้อนเนื้อที่มันคาบมาด้วยนั้นยังตกลงไปในแม่น้ำ และจมลงสู่ก้นแม่น้ำในที่สุด
ในที่สุด มันก็เดินจากไปจากที่ตรงนั้นอย่างช้าๆ…พร้อมกับความหิวโหย
