โรงเรียนอนุบาลพัทลุง ตั้งอยู่เลขที่ 45 ถนนสุรินทร์ ตำบลคูหาสวรรค์ อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดพัทลุง
จัดตั้งขึ้นเนื่องจากแผนกศึกษาธิการจังหวัดพัทลุง ได้ของบประมาณและขออนุญาตจัดตั้งไปยัง
กระทรวงศึกษาธิการ กระทรวงศึกษาธิการ อนุมัติเงินงบประมาณ 100,000 บาท รวมกับสำนักงานศึกษาธิการ จังหวัด 40,000 บาท
จัดสร้างตามแบบโรงเรียนอนุบาล แบบโรงเรียนวัดปิตุลาราชรังสฤษด์มี 4 ห้องเรียน 1 ห้องโถง เริ่มทำการปลูกสร้างตั้งแต่เดือน กรกฎาคม พ.ศ.2500 เสร็จเมื่อเดือน ธันวาคม พ.ศ.2501 และแอนุญาตให้เปิดทำการสอนครั้งแรก เมื่อวันที่ 8 มิถุนายน 2501 มีนักเรียนชาย 15 คน นักเรียนหญิง 17 คน นางสาวละออง พลับประสิทธิ์ รักษาการในตำแหน่งครูใหญ่
ปัจจุบันมีครู 72 คน นักเรียน 1,739 คน มีนายชาลี เอียดสกุล เป็นผู้อำนวยการโรงเรียน
