-อธิบดีกรมเจรจาการค้าระหว่างประเทศเป็นหัวหน้าคณะผู้แทนไทยเข้าร่วมประชุมในการประชุมด้านเศรษฐกิจของอาเซียนในระดับเจ้าหน้าที่อาวุโสและการประชุมเรื่องความตกลงการค้าเสรีระหว่างอาเซียนกับประเทศคู่เจรจา
- การเจรจาลดภาษีสินค้าในอาเซียน ภายใต้กรอบความตกลงด้านการค้าสินค้า
- ที่ผ่านมา สนับสนุนและร่วมการเจรจาขจัดมาตรการที่มิใช่ภาษีในอาเซียน (Non-Tariff Barriers) อาทิ โควต้าการขออนุญาตนำเข้าต่างๆ
- สนับสนุนและร่วมการเจรจาพัฒนากฎว่าด้วยถิ่นกำเนิดสินค้า (Rules of Origin) ของอาเซียนให้ตอบสนองกระบวนการผลิตของภูมิภาค
- เป็นแกนหลักในการเจรจาจัดทำและดำเนินการด้านการอำนวยความสะดวกทางการค้าของอาเซียน เพื่อให้กฎระเบียบ ขั้นตอน และข้อมูลทางศุลกากรในอาเซียนเป็นไปในแนวเดียวกัน
- สนับสนุนและร่วมการเจรจาให้เกิดการรวมกลุ่มด้านศุลกากร (Customs Integration) ปรับประสานกระบวนการและขั้นตอนศุลกากรให้ง่ายและเป็นไปในแนวเดียวกัน
