จากการศึกษา การวิเคราะห์สภาพภูมิอากาศของจังหวัดสุรินทร์ในช่วงปี พ.ศ. 2527-พ.ศ. 2557 พบว่า วิเคราะห์ลักษณะแนวโน้มสภาพอากาศในจังหวัดสุรินทร์ ตั้งแต่ปี พ.ศ. 2527 ถึง ปี พ.ศ. 2557 พบว่ามีอุณหภูมิเฉลี่ยรายปีมีแนวโน้มเพิ่มขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่อง เนื่องจากมีแนวโน้มของปริมาณน้ำฝน และจำนวนวันที่ฝนตกเฉลี่ยที่ตกรายปีลดลง ซึ่งมีผลทำให้ค่าความชื้นสัมพัทธ์ลดลงอย่างต่อเนื่องเช่นกัน ซึ่งข้อมูลดังกล่าวอาจจะนำไปใช้ประโยชน์ด้านเกษตรกรรม โดยข้อมูลดังกล่าวนั้นได้รับความอนุเคราะห์จากศูนย์อุตุนิยมวิทยาสุรินทร์ และศูนย์เรดาร์สุรินทร์ จังหวัดสุรินทร์โดยข้อมูลที่จะนำมาวิเคราะห์จะประกอบด้วยข้อมูลด้าน อุณหภูมิ ปริมาณน้ำฝน ความชื้นสัมพัทธ์ (พ.ศ.2547-2555) รวมทั้ง จำนวนวันที่ฝนตก โดยข้อมูลดังกล่าวถูกวิเคราะห์เพื่อหาค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ค่ากึ่งกลาง และเพื่อนำค่าที่ได้ไปเขียนกราฟเพื่อดูแนวโน้มสภาพอากาศจากอดีตจนถึงปัจจุบัน
