สำหรับเมืองนิเวศแห่งใหม่กลางมหานครปารีสจากโครงการ Clichy-Batignolles เป็นหนึ่งในแผนการอนุรักษ์ความหลากหลายทางชีวภาพและแผน ​Paris Climate and Energy Action Plan 2012 เพื่อจะช่วยให้ปารีสลดการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกได้มากถึงร้อยละ 30 ภายในปี 2020
