I am arriving in Chiang Mai 29th Aug .

I am going to Chiang Rai on the 5th Sept for 17days my reason is to open a bank account in Thailand which is a requirement for obtaining a retirement Visa. I intend to retire in Thailand early next year .
If you could meet me in Chiang Mai for a meal. I am looking for an honest permanent partner..

I am a quiet person who loves nature, photography, music and DVD's .I want to learn how to speak Thai and local cooking.
I intend to rent a house in Chiang Rai but I have no idea where a good place is, I love the White Temple.

Have you been to Chiang Rai? Is it better than Chian Mai?
