It is my honor to send an e-mail to you. My name is XXX, and I am a citizen of Thailand. I graduated Master degree of Science major in Biotechnology from XXX University in May 2013. I have a 4.00 GPAX and IELTS overall band score of 6.5. I am now doing my internship in University of XXX, Germany and also working on a manuscript for a publication.
For my master thesis, I conducted a research on Optimization for XXX with Associate Professor Dr. XXX. During my master course, I had many chances to read your articles, They are so inspiring and gave me many ideas for my thesis.
I strongly intend to continue my research work in the topics of bioreactor and microbial polyester. The main goal of my future education is to gain valuable research experience and deepen my knowledge of these areas. Thus, I am contacting you to inquire about prospective projects and works in your group at Institut für Molekulare Mikrobiologie und Biotechnologie, University of Münster, and I would like to ask about the possibility of applying into doctorate program at the University and about the possibility of applying for financial support from the University to cover tuition and living expenses.
I have enclosed a copy of my transcript and also the abstract of my master thesis, and I will gladly provide any other supporting materials upon request.
