ผลการวิจัย พบว่า ด้านสภาพเศรษฐกิจและสังคมของพื้นที่ศึกษาวิจัย ประชาชนส่วนใหญ่ประกอบอาชีพหลักคือการทำเกษตรกรรม คิดเป็นร้อยละ 75.7 ปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อมที่ชุมชนประสบปัญหามากที่สุดคือ ปัญหาภัยแล้ง/ ขาดแคลนน้ำทางการเกษตร ร้อยละ 40.54 การการปรับตัว/เตรียมความพร้อมของชุมชนเพื่อรับมือกับความเสี่ยงด้านสภาพภูมิอากาศและภัยธรรมชาติของชุมชนพบว่าประชาชนมีการปรับตัว คิดเป็นร้อยละ 84.3 การปรับตัว/เตรียมความพร้อมของชุมชนเพื่อรับมือกับความเสี่ยงด้านสภาพภูมิอากาศและภัยธรรมชาติมีผลกระทบต่อคุณภาพชีวิตและความเป็นอยู่ของคนในชุมชน คิดเป็นร้อยละ 67.7 ชุมชนควรมีการปรับรูปแบบการใช้ประโยชน์ที่ดินให้สอดคล้องกับสภาพภูมิอากาศมากที่สุด ร้อยละ 47.1 มีความจำเป็นการเตรียมความพร้อมชุมชนด้วยการซ้อมเตือนภัยและสื่อสารในชุมชนเพื่อรับมือภัยพิบัติที่อาจเกิดขึ้นในชุมชนในอนาคตส่วนใหญ่พบว่าจำเป็น ร้อยละ 90.6
