INTERNATIONAL LEGAL COUNSELLORS THAILAND (ILCT) is the lead office of the multi-domestic law firm, Russin & Vecchi (R&V). The name, “International Legal Counsellors Thailand Ltd.”, is the translation of the official Thai name. R&V has four offices in Asia and concentrates solely on Asia related work. These offices are: Bangkok, Thailand; Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam; and Taipei, Taiwan R.O.C. The firm was founded in 1966 in Thailand and expanded to nine offices in various countries under the R&V name. In 1998, R&V was restructured to the effect that the Asian offices no longer have any equity relationship with the other offices which remain separate and independent though still practicing under the same name. All former R&V offices, including those now constituting the Asian offices remain in alliance.

R&V in Asia remains a multi-domestic firm in the best sense of the word, with partners of various nationalities. The firm is a member of Meritas, a network of 200 leading law firms in major cities of the world.
