จากการทดลองเครื่องสไลด์มันฝรั่งชนิดเกลียวแบบกึ่งอัตโนมัติสามารถผลิตชิ้นมันผรั่งแบบเกลียว ยาว 7 เซนติเมตร กว้าง 4 เซนติเมตร เป็นไปตามขอบเขตที่กำหนดไว้ การทดสอบผลิตภัณฑ์ทั้งหมด 3 ครั้ง โดยใช้มันฝรั่งทดสอบทีละ 1 หัว พบว่าใช้เวลาต่างกันทั้งนี้ขึ้นอยู่กับขนาดของมันฝรั่งที่นำมาสไลด์
