การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อการศึกษาแรงจูงใจใจการทำงานของพนักงานของพนักงานบริษัท ไปรษณีย์ไทย จำกัด สาขาบางขุนเทียน ตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการศึกษาคือ พนักงานระดับปฏิบัติการ ของพนักงานบริษัท ไปรษณีย์ไทย จำกัด สาขาบางขุนเทียนจำนวน 150 คน โดยใช้แบบสอบถามเป็นเครื่องมือในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล คือ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ทำการทดสอบสมมติฐาน โดยใช้สถิติ One-Way ANOVA (F-test) ในการทดสอบสมมติฐานสำหรับตัวแปรมากกว่าสองกลุ่ม และใช้วิธีการเปรียบเทียบรายคู่โดยวิธีของเซฟเฟ่ (Scheffe test) ที่ระดับนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ 0.05

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ของพนักงานบริษัท ไปรษณีย์ไทย จำกัด สาขาบางขุนเทียน ในการรวมอยู่ในระดับ มาก ( =3.64) เมื่อพิจารณาในแต่ละด้านพบว่า ด้านความก้าวหน้าและความมั่นคงในอาชีพ ( = 3.70) รองลงมาคือ ด้านสภาพสิ่งแวดล้อมในที่ทำงาน ( = 3.67) รองลงมาคือ ด้านรายได้และสวัสดิการ ( = 3.60) และ ด้านความปลอดภัย ( = 3.60)
