ประเภทของคนจน
สามารถแบงคนจนออกเปน 3 กลุมใหญๆ คือ
1. คนจนกายภาพ หมายถึงคนที่ขาดปจจัยการดํารงชีพขั้นพ้นฐาน ื
2. คนจนสัมพัทธ หรือคนจนโครงสราง หมายถึงคนที่ไมขาดปจจัยการดํารงชีพ
ขั้นพื้นฐาน แตขาดปจจัยทางสังคม เชน การศึกษา หรือเสนสายเปนตน
3. กลุมเสี่ยงจน ยังไมถือเปนคนจน แตมีแนวโนมกลายเปนคนจนไดใน
อนาคต
สําหรับลักษณะของคนจนทั้งสามประเภทมีดังนี้
คนจนกายภาพ มีลักษณะดังนี้คือ
- สภาพความเปนอยูแรนแคน ขาดแคลนปจจัยพื้นฐาน
- การศกษาไม ึ เกินระดับประถมศึกษา
- ไมมีเงินออมและไมมีทรัพยสินใด ๆ เลย (ทั้งถาวรและไมถาวร)
